Job brief

Since its creation, Digital Plant has been able to secure its activity with our main client, a global software company. In this context, we are looking for a Business Developer, which will be able to promote Digital Plant’s services to new companies and sign new contracts.

This position will be based in our Damansara Height’s office, directly attached to our Operations Director and closely working with other Business Developers from France and Malaysia. You will be considered as a key contributor to our development and to the well-being of our consultants.


Duties and Responsibilities

Commercial Development

  • Identify clients and activities aligned with Digital Plant’s strategy
  • Elaborate a prospection file from your own research on available medias
  • Answer tendering procedures and your prospects/clients’ needs, supported by our operational experts
  • Prospect clients in order to plan an average of 2 appointments per day
  • Realize 1 business meeting per day, documented by a detailed reporting
  • Identify and qualify commercial opportunities
  • Produce and defend commercial proposals
  • Lead commercial negotiation until signature
  • Ensure the proper follow-up of activities by being close to consultants, which you will regularly accompany
  • Nurture and retain your client portfolio


Talent recruitment

  • Participate, together with the recruitment team, to find the best fitting consultants for your needs
  • Attend interviews with the operational team (5 per week)
  • Ensure the proper qualification of those profiles through phone or face to face interviews


Required skills

  • College degree in Marketing or Business
  • Experience in Business Development (1-4 years)
  • Fluent in English to work worldwide. French would be an asset
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to listen and persuade clients
  • Familiar with Digital Marketing activities
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Knowledge of B2B marketing, consulting agencies or competitive industry would be a plus


Objectives and commission structure

There will be a double commissioning:

  1. Commission per number of meetings attended
  2. Percentage of turnover for each profitable new contract (TA and/or Project)

Chosen KPIs will evolve in time, accordingly to the seniority of business developers throughout their experience within Digital Plant.
